OMEGA Speedmaster Grey Side of the Moon 44.25 mm grey ceramic

The Speedmaster Grey Side of the Moon features a 44.25 mm grey ceramic case polished and brushed with a plasma treatment. Its brushed grey ceramic bezel carries a laser-engraved tachymeter scale filled with white Super-LumiNova. Beneath the sapphire crystal, OMEGA’s lunar link appears through a specially decorated movement laser-cut on the mainplate and bridges to depict the Moon’s surface: the near side is visible on the grey anodised aluminium skeleton dial, the far side through the caseback.

It offers a small seconds at 9, a 30-minute recorder at 3 and a 12-hour recorder at 6. Moonwatch-style hands and faceted indexes in grey are filled with white Super-LumiNova (green glow). Powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3869, with a caseback engraving including “THE MOON IS ESSENTIALLY GREY” (Jim Lovell, Apollo 8). Delivered on a grey rubber strap (lunar-surface inner motif), with a ceramic deployant clasp and ceramised titanium lugs with adaptable spring bars.
