This model, with scratch resistant sapphire crystal, has a black ceramic dial, with Arabic numerals, dated at 3 o'clock and central needle GMT. The black-white bio-ceramic unidirectional bezel, to distinguish day and night, is mounted in a 43.5 mm case and noble steel.

OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer is watertight up to 600 m and has a helium escape valve. It incorporates the OMEGA Master Chronometer 8906, visible through the transparent bottom. To achieve the Master Chronometer category, it has passed the 8 rigorous tests established by the METAS (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
