This Chinese New Year 2022, Jaquet Droz presents for the first time, six unique pieces that are combined, each one with an artistic approach to represent the iconic attributes of the tiger.

Extra exclusive, rare and precious. These three characteristics perfectly describe the three pairings that the brand dedicates to the Chinese New Year and to the Tiger that represents it. It uses different symbolism and techniques to demonstrate the quintessence of the Ateliers d'Art of haute horlogerie and to allude to the personal history of the brand: for more than two centuries, it has been famous for its duo watches. These Duo watches were developed in particular for the Chinese Empire from 1774, one of the most important Swiss watchmaking houses (600 pieces sold in 10 years, including a large number for the emperor himself).

This watch on the same Grand Feu “Heure Bleue” enamel background, the whole reflects that fleeting moment that separates the dogs from the wolves, with the sky adorned with a gradation of blue drawn from the light of day and the deep black of the night. On one side, a tiger finely carved in white gold, on the prowl, in his atavistic hunter pose.
