Features of the Omega Speedmaster Super Racing
Omega continues to amaze with a new breakthrough in timekeeping, the innovative OMEGA Spirate™ System making its appearance on the iconic 44.25mm OMEGA Speedmaster Super Racing.
This vibrant and singular version has received a profound renovation of this model, it is characterized by a unique aesthetic with a modern and daring combination of materials, the dial stands out for its combination of black with yellow details that enhance the details of the dial, paying homage to Aqua Terra 2013.
The dial has been redesigned with a new honeycomb pattern, the construction has been made in sandwich. The upper plate is laser engraved as Omega has accustomed us in its models, the lower plate with DLC coating. It also incorporates the new color of superluminova. The position of the markers is maintained at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock as its predecessor and date window located at 6 o’clock.
This Omega Speedmaster Super Racing watch features this new invention, the Spirate System, Omega has developed a new method to tune the speed of the watch movement. It combines the totally renewed design of the silicon hairspring and a new system to tune the movement of the new Omega Speedmaster Super Racing. This magnificent automatic mechanical chronograph–which includes the OMEGA Spirate™ System–, mounts scratch-resistant sapphire crystal both on the back of the watch that allows us to admire this magnificent movement and on its dial, the bezel with tachymeter scale with Grand enamel Feu in yellow color maintains the example with the dials of the sphere.
The strap has the traditional design of 3 brushed links and a polished extension, it mounts a folding clasp with microadjustment that allows us to move up to 5 mm without the need for tools. The OMEGA Speedmaster Super Racing is the first watch from the Omega group and the world to include the innovative OMEGA Spirate™ ultra-fine adjustment system. Powered by the advanced COSC-certified and Master Chronometer-certified OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 9920, this watch has passed the industry’s most stringent tests to ensure optimum performance, precision and water resistance.
