In 2005, Omega launched the Planet Ocean line, within the Seamaster collection, a tribute to diving watches.
This 43.5 mm model is made of stainless steel, with a white ceramic dial, appliqued orange Arabic numerals and date window at 3 o'clock. The orange ceramic unidirectional bezel includes a liquid ceramic filled immersion scale and Super-LumiNova .
Other features include a screw-down honeycomb case back and a polyamide NATO strap, listed in orange, gray and white, with a polished buckle and stainless steel buckles.
The watch is waterproof to 600 meters / 2000 feet / 60 bar and has a helium escape valve. The OMEGA Master Chronometer caliber 8900 movement is visible through the transparent case back. To achieve the Master Chronometer category, it has passed the 8 rigorous tests established by the METAS (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
